Finally, our Polaris Ranger 6x6 is ready for us to pick up! As much as we all enjoy this beautiful, sticky walk, it will be nice to be able to get in and out a bit easier. Walking out to the truck, June fell asleep on my shoulders, and Allyse grabbed this shot. Exhausted from exhilaration.
We had our Ranger built by a local shop, Homer Saw & Cycle, an awesome place where you can get everything from chainsaws to snow machines and everything in between. We had hoped our rig would be ready for us to pick up upon our arrival in Homer, but some of the parts were delayed. It may not have made it out the road anyway, everything happens for a reason. We stocked up on groceries for 5 days, loaded up our ranger and made our way back to the cabin. She did great!
We will need Silver Bullet to get us to and from our property (once we move onto it in the Summer) and she will be crucial in helping to clear land, and build our cabin. A large investment, but one that will pay off quickly.
